Kevin Clark, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Instructional Technology program, and the Director of the Center for Digital Media Innovation and Diversity in the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University. He holds both bachelors and masters degrees in computer science from North Carolina State University as well as a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems from Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Clark’s research interests focus on the design and development of online learning environments, the role of gaming and media in formal and non-formal learning, and the use of technology in learning with underserved populations. Nada Dabbagh Dr. Nada Dabbagh
Nada Dabbagh, Ph.D. is an associate professor of Instructional Technology in the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at George Mason University. Dr. Dabbagh received her doctorate in Instructional Systems from The Pennsylvania State University in 1996. She also holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Iona College. Dr. Dabbagh teaches courses in learning theory, advanced instructional design, and e-learning pedagogy. Her research focuses on the cognitive consequences of technology mediated learning tasks with the goal of understanding the design characteristics of task structuring as the basis for effective learning designs.
